Mountain Ranch is a ten-year look at the disappearing world of cattle ranching in the mountains of Colorado. Published by The University of Texas Press, this book features 165 timeless, toned black-and-white images of the traditional elements of these traditional lives, as well as eight first-person narratives by elderly ranchers and a beautiful introduction by acclaimed author Gretel Ehrlich.

Published by Viking Studio in 2008, Dog Run was recognized as one of the top ten photography books of the year by The International Photography Awards, Photo District News and Communication Arts. The Toronto Globe & Mail called Dog Run “perhaps the least sentimental dog book ever printed.”

 
 

Los Toros is a fifteen-year photographic essay on bullfighting in Spain, Mexico, South America and France. This 2007 book (Twin Palms Publishers) features an introduction by Nobel Prize winner Mario Vargas Llosa, and was awarded first prize in the category of Fine Art Book at the 2008 International Photography Awards.
